Have you ever notice ....

Have you ever notice that the words "silent" and "listen" have the exact same letters.... At times we need to be silent and listen to the word of God and not be moved by our emotions. Be Blessed Job 33:33 New International Version (NIV) 33 But if not, then listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom.

A Lifetime of Favor TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime...” (Psalm 30:4–5, NIV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Let this truth sink down into your spirit today: God’s favor is not for a season; it’s for a lifetime. How do we obtain God’s favor? Proverbs three tells us that when we honor His Word, when we obey His commands and walk in mercy and truth, that’s how we find favor in God’s sight. When we do our part, God will do His part. Today, if you are believing God for something, maybe a turnaround in a relationship, career or your health, stand firm that God’s Word is true. When you put Him first place in your life, when you follow His commands, He promises to pour out His favor on you. When those thoughts try t...
Psalm 119:105 New International Version (NIV) 105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path     The word of God guides us in the direction we need to go...if we learn how to be still and and surrender to the voice of the Holy Spirit... our biggest distraction is being busy. We must learn how to be still, find a quiet place .....go into your prayer closet and draw closer to God.   Have a blessed and wonderful weekend.... this weekend I am taking off my Wonderwoman cape and taking some time to reflect on my life and "be still" knowing that God is who he say he is. Be blessed ....

His Mercy is Greater TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” (Psalm 100:5, NKJV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria When you make a mistake, unfortunately, the critics and naysayers come out of the woodwork. People will tell you, “You’re all washed up. It’s too late.” If you wear that label, it will keep you from the amazing future God has in store. God says, “My mercy is bigger than any mistake.” God says, “I can still get you to your destiny.” God says, “I will give you beauty for those ashes. I’ll pay you back double for the unfair things that have happened.” You wouldn’t be alive unless God had another victory in your future. Why don’t you take off the “washed up” label? Take off the “failure,” “guilty,” “condemned” labels and put on some new labels: redeemed, restore...

No Limits TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “I have seen that everything [human] has its limits and end [no matter how extensive, noble, and excellent]; but Your commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity].” (Psalm 119:96, AMP) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria We serve a supernatural God! He can do what medicine cannot do. He is not limited by your education, your background, the family you came from. He’s not moved by the things people have spoken over you. He’s not up in heaven all frantic, trying to figure out how to get you to your destiny. He knows the end from the beginning. He already has solutions to problems you’ve not even had. He is all powerful and all knowing. People may have tried to push you down, but if you’ll just remove those labels and get into agreement with God, He will push you up. He will take you ...

Today is going to be a day of breakthrough in your life!   You've been praying, interceding, petitioning God for something that has been weighing on your heart. You may have begun to think it wasn't going to happen. Well, I am standing in faith with you today, knowing that . . . Ye shall receive it! It's not wrong to desire things from God; you can approach Him in prayer with the desires of your heart. 1 Corinthians 2:7-10 says that the Spirit of God reveals to you the things that God is preparing for you. You may not have seen it in the natural, but it is being revealed to your spirit.   That means when you spend time with God, it is the Holy Spirit giving you that desire, those dreams, that passion. It's time for you to start believing what He's telling you so you can receive!   Seeds of faith sown in prayer will always ...

Remove the Negative Labels TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made...” (Psalm 139:14, NIV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Throughout life, people are constantly sticking labels on us, telling us what we can and cannot become. And sometimes this is good. People speak faith into us. They encourage us. But then, there are times that people put negative labels on us. You cannot stop the negative comments. You can’t prevent the negative labels, but you can choose to remove them. As a teenager, Walt Disney was told by his art instructor that he wasn’t creative. He didn’t have any imagination. Disney was smart enough to remove that label. He went on to do pretty well. Lucille Ball was told that she ...
1 PETER 5:10 AMP And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you. (1 Peter 5:10 AMP)

Quote of the day

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. Albert Schweitzer Have a blessed weekend

Lifting the Fog of Fear TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.” (Exodus 13:21, NIV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Fear is exaggerated. It can be overwhelming. It always takes you to the worst-case scenario. Fear is like a fog. It will always cloud the truth. It tries to make you stumble. It tries to block your vision and keep you from seeing the good plan God has on the road up ahead. So how do you lift the fog of fear? In the Bible, God led the Israelites toward their Promised Land with a cloud by day and a cloud of fire by night. It was the cloud of His glory. The cloud of His glory is where you’ll find joy, strength, peace, love and protection. It’s where you’ll find vis...

Bigger than Fear TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.” (1 John 5:4, NASB) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Fear always presents itself much bigger than it really is. It’s always the worst-case scenario. It always tries to get you worried, anxious, uptight and panicked. Fear’s goal is to separate you from God by trying to get you to doubt His Word. But when the spirit of fear comes, recognize that it has no power unless you give it power. Don’t give it power by speaking what fear speaks. Don’t give it power by meditating on it. Instead, let the power of the Word of God rise up within you. Declare what God says; declare that God has given you all authority in heaven and earth. Declar...

When Fear Knocks on the Door TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12, NIV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Friends, throughout life, fear will come knocking at the door, selling you the worst case scenario. Fear tells you, “You’re going to lose your job. Your marriage is over. Your business is falling apart. Your child is done. It’s all downhill from here.” When those thoughts come, you don’t have to buy in. You don’t have to accept those thoughts. Here’s the key: when fear knocks, let faith answer the door. Don’t give those thoughts of fear the time of day. Don’t let them intimidate you. Answer back with faith. “Lord, You said the number o...

Who You Are TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9, NKJV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Today, many people are walking around not knowing who they really are. Not naturally speaking, of course, but spiritually speaking. Once you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you take on a new identity — His identity. Everything He is, you become. Because Jesus is an overcomer, you are an overcomer (1 John 4:4). Because Jesus is more than a conqueror, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). You become empowered to do all things through Christ who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13)! Let these words sink down deep in your heart today. Rea...
Matthew 16:24 Amplified Bible (AMP) 24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [ disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [ [ a ] cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also].     Today let’s walk in humility; walk in love and forgiveness - God forgave us, so how can we not   forgive others. As Christians we should try to have healthy relationships with others. We cannot force   someone to like us, just don’t allow that persons hatred to cause you to become bitter. Love anyway   - Be Blessed

Seeds of Greatness TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.” (2 Peter 1:3, NKJV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria When God created you, He deposited in you everything that you need in order to fulfill your calling. He gave you the desire and the ability. He equipped you with gifts and talents. No dream is too big. No challenge is too great. What happens a lot of times is that people don’t recognize what’s been placed within them because at first it seems subtle. The gift may not be evident in the beginning. It starts out in seed form. But just like planting a seed and tending to it will help it grow and develop fruit, when you tend to the seeds inside of you, they will begin to produce. How do you tend to the seeds? ...
