As 2013 comes to and end remeber to press toward the mark, looking ahead and not back. Philippians 3:13-14 New International Version (NIV) 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. She can deal with stress and carry heavy burdens. She smiles when she feels like screaming, and she sings when she feels like crying. She cries when she's happy and laughs when she's afraid. Her love is unconditional. There's only one thing wrong with her. She forgets what she's worth! A strong woman knows how to keep her life in order. Even with tears in her eyes, she still manages to say 'I'm Ok' with a smile. Proverbs 31 New International Version (NIV) Epilogue: The Wife of Noble Character Verses 10-31 10 [ b ] A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. 11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. 12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. 13 She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. 14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. 15 She gets up while it is still night; she provides food f...

Matthew 6:27-34 New International Version (NIV) 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life [ a ] ? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

It is important that we give GOD some praise each and every day. We must be mindful to throw up some praises to our heavenly father, it is by his grace and his mercy that we are still here "standing". When the enemy came in like a flood he kept our feet on solid ground. The things that were meant to destroy us ended up restoring us. To GOD be the glory !!! I am so thankful for the restoration ....even though I am still under construction ... .the restoration in my live is evident and I got a shout in me .... I don't know what your going through but shout anyway....praise anyway ... smile anyway...love anyway ... live anyway !!! Be blessed .... 2 Samuel 22:50 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 50 “ Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord , among the nations, And I will sing praises to Your name.

Be Blessed and have a great weekend ...choose your friends wisely... 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 Amplified Bible (AMP) 14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? 15 What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial [the devil]? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 New International Version (NIV) Warning Against Idolatry 14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial [ a ] ? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

Don’t worry about your haters..... as long as you are serving God you will encounter some haters ... in your personal life ...on the job and everywhere you travel... they will accuse you ... tell lies and try to damage your reputation remember Satan is an accuser of the brethren Be strong and remember no weapon formed shall prosper ... God never promised they wouldn’t form ... he did promise that they will not prosper ... be blessed and walk by faith and not by sight ... for when it does not look or feel good its working for the good Todays scripture : Revelation 12:9-11 King James Version (KJV) 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is c...

It's Done--It Just Hasn't Manifested Yet By Dianna Hobbs Hate is a strong word, so let's just say, when I was in college, I strongly disliked going to the financial aid office in the beginning of the semester. This was always a time when lines would be wrapped around the building and hours were spent waiting. I didn't have a cell phone back then. After a while, people-watching got mind-numbing. For the most part, those who were stuck in that long, narrow hallway were doing the same thing: twiddling their thumbs; shifting their weight from one leg to the other; sitting on the floor; leaning up against a wall; reading a book; or complaining to anyone who would listen about how annoyed they were with the drawn-out process. It was truly dreadful. The worst moments were when, after my slow-coming turn arrived, I'd get to the desk, only to be dryly informed that I had forgott...

Don’t Be Limited By a Lack of Faith A woman shopping in Houston happily hummed a tune as she collected the items she wished to purchase and approached the cashier. The clerk just stared at her for a long moment, as though wondering what was wrong with her, offering an obligatory, “How are you doing today?” That’s all it took. The woman nearly bubbled over. “How nice of you to ask! I’m doing great. I am so blessed!” The clerk looked at the woman quizzically for a moment and then said, “Let me ask you a question. Do you go to Lakewood Church?” “Why, yes I do. How did you guess?” The clerk shook her head and smiled, “I should have known. Everybody that comes in here like you is from Lakewood.” What a great compliment! That’s the way it should be. God’s people should be the happiest people on earth. So happy, in fact, that other people notice. Why? Because we not only have a fabulous future, we can enjoy life today! Living your best life now means being excited ...

God wants Christians to separate ourselves from people from our past who mean us no good, that does not mean live in isolation .... we are to be separated not isolated.... be blessed Psalm 1 (NIV) 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord , and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. 4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. 5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. 6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. Be Blessed ... my friends

Leave Your Mess-Ups Behind You By Dianna Hobbs I'm not a Twitter person, but I do love Facebook. If you follow me there, you know that every day I share whatever it is God places upon my heart. Last evening, I posted a thought He gave me in the middle of getting ready to pack it in for the evening. I wrote, "Don't waste another minute regretting past mistakes or failures. Just begin again. There is a new mercy waiting for you. Start fresh." Truth is, everyone-at least those who are not in denial-have things in their history they wish they would have done differently. I do. You do. We all do. In fact, my mind goes back to January 1998 when my husband Kenya and I were first married. We were young, wide-eyed and fresh out of our parents' houses. We felt like we could conquer the world together as long as we had each other. ...

Joshua 1 New International Version (NIV) verse 5-9 5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them. 7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Be blessed

Get Back in the Game TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1, NIV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Are you going through a tough time today? Are you sitting on the sidelines of life? God is saying, “Arise and get back in the game.” If a friend betrayed you, don’t go through life lonely. Go out and find some new friends. The right people are in your future. If you lost your job, don’t sit around complaining. Go out and find another job. When one door closes, God will always open another door. If you’re facing a health issue, fighting that sickness, don’t give up on life and start planning your funeral. Arise from that discouragement! When God sees you do your part, He will do His part. He will give you a new life. That means He will restore your health, give you n...
