It is Finished TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” (Philippians 1:6, NLT) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria It’s interesting that the last thing Jesus that said on the cross was, “It is finished.” It certainly looked like the end. It looked like it was over. But I believe that wasn’t just a statement of fact, it was a statement of faith. Jesus was saying to His Father, “I’ve done My part. I’ve fulfilled My destiny. Now I’ve got total trust and confidence in You that You are going to finish what You started.” Even though it looked like the end, in reality, it was only the beginning. When it looks dark in your own life, when things aren’t going your way, dare to make that declaration of faith just like Jesu...
Patience Means Salvation The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.  —2 PETER 3:9

Resurrection Power TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “...He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen...” (Matthew 28:6, NLT) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria We have a reason to celebrate life every single day because the God we serve is alive. His resurrection power didn’t end on the cross 2000 years ago; His power is still at work today. Not only did He resurrect Jesus from the dead, but He wants to extend His resurrection power into every single area of your life, too. Maybe you have a dream to get out of debt, pay off your house or be free from a burden of lack, but it looks impossible. Business is slow. The economy is down. You’ve gone as far as your education allows. But God is saying, “I’m not limited by those things. I’ve got resurrection power. I can give you one break that will thrust you to a new level. I can open up doors that no man can shut. I can bring talent out of you that you didn’t know you had. I can cause people to go out of their wa...

Help is on the Way TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “...With us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” (2 Chronicles 32:8, NKJV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria I’ve learned that when the enemy attacks, God reacts. God doesn’t just sit back and think, “Well, I wonder what’s going to happen. I wonder what they’re going to do.” No, God goes to work. You are His most prized possession. It says in Psalms, “God is close to those that are hurting. God is close to the broken hearted.” God knows when you’ve gotten a bad medical report. He knows when you’re struggling in your finances. He knows when you’re being mistreated. You may not see anything happening, but you can be assured that Almighty God is not only aware, He is at work. He already has the solution. If you will stay in faith, at the right time, He will release a flood of His po...

Preprogrammed for Victory! TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” (1 John 5:5, NIV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Did you know that you are preprogrammed for victory? As a child of the Most High God, you are filled with His conquering power. You are filled with the power to overcome all the negative, self-defeating forces of the world. Do you know what that power is? It’s you’re faith. When you activate your faith, you are tapping into His unlimited strength. You are opening the door for Him to move supernaturally in your life. Understand that faith causes you to live your life differently. It causes you to speak and act differently than before. When things come against you, instead of complaining and giving up, faith causes you to rise up and say, “No weapon form...
God is good ...so good trust in him. Be blessed

As You Wait TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.” (James 5:7, NLT) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria God has put dreams and desires in every person’s heart. But most times, there’s a season of waiting involved. Maybe you’re waiting for a relationship to improve; waiting to get married; waiting for a promotion, or waiting to overcome an illness. Much of life is spent waiting. But there’s a right way to wait and a wrong way to wait. Too often, when things don’t happen on our timetable, we get down and discouraged or anxious and fretful. That’s because we...

Praise and Strength TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.” (Psalm 28:7, NIV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Praise and strength go hand in hand. When you give God praise, He gives you strength. When you thank God in advance for the answer, that’s what keeps you encouraged. Remember, you’re not going to stay strong in faith by complaining. Complaining drains you of strength and energy. You’re not going to stay determined if you’re talking about how bad it is. No, switch over into praise. “Business may be slow, but Lord, I want to thank You that You prosper me even in a desert.” “The people coming against me may be powerful, but Lord, I want to thank You that You are all-powerful.” Praise will keep you moving forwar...

Thank Him in Advance TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines...Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” (Habakkuk 3:17–18, NKJV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria We all have dreams and goals that God has placed in our hearts, things we’re believing for, situations we’re praying will turn around. These promises start off like seeds. They don’t come to pass overnight. There’s always a period of waiting involved. From the time we pray till the time we see it come to fulfillment, that’s called the trial of our faith. This is when many people get discouraged and give up. They start believing the negative thoughts, “It’s never going to happen. It’s taken too long.” Now, that seed is lying there dormant, but it’s still alive. It still has potential. You have to do your pa...

Be blessed and have a wonderful weekend The Lord Will Fight for You TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.” (Exodus 14:14, AMP) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria In life, we’re always going to have critics. We’ll always have difficult people who try to upset us and steal our peace and joy. But, you don’t have to respond to every critic. You can decide to take the high road and let God fight your battles for you. Sometimes, no matter what you say or do, there are people who aren’t going to accept you. They just don’t want to be at peace with you. In fact, when Jesus sent out His disciples to certain homes, He told them to always speak peace over those homes. And then He said in effect, “If they don’t receive the peace that you’re offering, then it will come back to you.” That t...

Before Your Eyes TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “I will set no base or wicked thing before my eyes...” (Psalm 101:3, AMP) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria In this Psalm, David was determined to honor the Lord with his mind. David knew that what he watched would affect his thinking. If he didn’t guard his mind by choosing carefully what he looked at, he would be drawn to do things that weren’t pleasing to the Lord. The same is true for us today. If we are watching things on TV or reading things in books or magazines that aren’t pleasing to the Lord, we are opening a door to the enemy. When we look on things that aren’t pleasing to the Lord, a stronghold is built in our thinking. We become enslaved to those wrong thoughts. But, God has given us the power to break those strongholds through the blood of Jesus Christ! If you are struggling with tho...

Press toward the Promise TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “...imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (Hebrews 6:12, ESV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Are you feeling discouraged about something you’ve been asking God for? Focus on the fact that through faith and patience, you will see God’s promises come to pass in your life. Understand that the enemy always fights the hardest when he knows you are closest to your breakthrough. He’d leave you alone if he thought you were going to live in mediocrity. If you keep pressing on toward your promise, through faith and patience, you will get there. Don’t be like the Israelites in the Old Testament who were right next to their promised land when they talked themselves out of it. They said, “There are giants in the land. It’s too difficult.” No, don’t look at the obstacles...

The Same Favor TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, NKJV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria One of the reasons it’s so important to know the Word of God is not only to learn His promises and His ways, but to understand His character. What He’s done for others, He will do for you. The same God who displayed His favor in the Bible is still at work today. I believe God wants to flood you with the same favor He flooded Joseph, Abraham and Elijah with. I believe He wants to open new doors, line up supernatural appointments, and bring new increase and provision. The question is, are you ready to receive it? Can you see it with your eyes of faith? Today, know that our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is with you and for you. Even before you see things turn around, believe t...
